I’m a watercolour artist originally from West Yorkshire, England. My current home though is super-friendly Belfast in Northern Ireland.
When I’m not painting you can find me out on an early morning walk listening to podcasts, tending to my plant-babies, playing video games, cooking, or being a goof-ball with my husband, David. I also work in the charity sector as a full-time events planner.
As cliché as it sounds, I’m on a journey at the moment, figuring out my style and niche as I go. Animals are my first love and ultimate inspiration, though lately I’ve been sparked by other things that fulfil my love of the nerdy and nostalgic.
Painting gives me something real (cue movie trailer voice) in a world seemingly obsessed with mindless quick-fixes and instant gratifications. I think it helps ground me in this increasingly unstable world, and it’s also deeply satisfying to fulfil that desire to create, rather than merely consume.
